What Is
Rejuran?
Rejuran is a Korean skin treatment made with polynucleotides, fragments of DNA extracted from salmon, which is why social media calls it the “salmon sperm facial”. We apply it to the skin during microneedling, for patients who want to add hydration and calmer skin. Rejuran is not FDA approved in any form, including for injection, so it is never injected here.

Who It’s For
For adding hydration to a microneedling treatment.
Ideal For
Patients already planning microneedling for texture or dull, dehydrated skin, on the face or neck, who want to add Rejuran to it. If you are looking for Rejuran injections, we do not offer them, and your doctor will tell you what we can do instead. See the concerns we treat.
When to Wait
Tell your doctor about any fish allergy and your health history first. If you have melasma, microneedling needs a careful hand, so your doctor will choose the depth and type with that in mind.
Rejuran or PRP?
Both can be applied to the skin during microneedling. PRP is made from your own blood in the same visit, while Rejuran is a product made from salmon DNA. Your doctor will suggest which suits your skin, or neither. Read about PRP and PRF with microneedling.
Ready when you are.
The Treatment
1
Worth
Adding?
First comes the question of whether microneedling suits your skin at all, and then whether Rejuran is worth adding. Sometimes the answer is a different treatment.
2
Into the
Channels
After numbing cream, Rejuran is applied to the skin and the skin is microneedled, sometimes with radiofrequency, so the tiny channels let it in. A second Rejuran product, Tone-Up Booster, is sometimes added for uneven tone.
3
A Series,
Gradually
Rejuran microneedling is planned as a series. Your skin is red for one to three days after each treatment, and any change is gradual, so you judge it over the series.
Often paired with: PRP & PRF, Lasers & Microneedling and PRF for Under Eyes.

I highly recommend Dr. Fisher. I followed her from her previous practice and I continue to be happy with my results. I’ve gotten fillers and laser. Whenever I’ve wanted to do more, she was always honest with me. If I didn’t need it, I could count on her to tell me
