This policy explains what Idriss Dermatology ("we") collects through this website and how we use it. How we handle your medical information as a patient is described separately in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

What we collect

  • What you send us. Your name, email, phone number and message when you use our contact form, and your email address when you join our newsletter. Please do not include medical details in the contact form; call us instead.
  • Appointment requests. Online booking is provided by our scheduling provider, which receives the details you enter to book your visit.
  • How the site is used. We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. It is set up so that Google does not receive your IP address, its advertising features are turned off, and it uses cookies set by our own site.

How we use it

To answer your questions, schedule your care, send the newsletter you asked for, and improve the site. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.

Who receives it

Only the service providers that run these functions for us: hosting and email, scheduling, our newsletter provider, Google Analytics, and Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our contact form from spam and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Our contact page also shows a Google map. We may disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

Your choices

  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics does not run during your visit.
  • The site does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no common standard for them.
  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
  • To see, correct or delete information you have sent us, contact us below.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. No website can guarantee complete security.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
